"Empty" is the most recent release by the eerie drone sounds of Healthy Animal from Coral Springs, Florida. It's packaged in a cassette wrapped in tin foil tied with rope. We saw Amm Een arrange a group of around 5 people to perform live last weekend as part of Summer of Weirds, it was really cool. Like the album tracks, drums, bass, and guitar, were used, but a female's voice through pedals added the the bled together wall of grayish brown color they created.A short lived flute appears every once in awhile, where as the mass of the songs are conceived with some sort of distorted instrument, drums, guitar, all in a very interesting and strange discordant way. "Gaze" 1 , 2 , 3 showcase the most aggresive and gritty the album can feel; inbetween, "Song" and "Smoke" evoke more of a lone journey through the forest, lost forever from your tribe and feeling the void inside yourself. As the album comes to resolve, "Wind" is the most relaxed and harmonious.
